Im changing the pads on my 01 gsr and was wondering how does the caliper piston go back in cause my new pads are huge compared to what was in before.

You just squeeze it back in unless the caliper piston has slots in it. Then it might require to be twisted back in.

You have to get either a c-clamp or brake piston compressor to push it back in. You cannot use your bare hands.

If it is the rear piston, a flat head screwdriver can be used to screw it clockwise back into the cylinder.

For the fronts I used a C-clamp to depress the piston.

Fronts are pressed in...c clamp works great.

Rears turn in. Screwdriver, pliers...anything you can use to turn the piston in.
