Idle prob
I,m new here but I feel I will find real help here. Ok, I,ve a teg,92 ZX dual carb....having prob with idle...checked the IAC but still having probs+ i,ve black spark plugs in 3 And 4. When I start my A/C the idle goes from .8 to 1.4! I on tuning perhaps since my birth! need some suggestion guys. thanx.
800 RPM sounds about right. I don't know exactly what your problem is. When you turn the AC on idle goes up? That's normal, the AC compressor puts the engine under load. When the car senses load it raises the revs to keep the car from running rough.
A vacuum leak would cause a high idle. Is that what your problem is? Or does it fluctuate? Are your spak plugs new? How about the rest of your ignition?
If you're just worried about idling @ 800 RPM then turn the idle screw to adjust it. Sorry I'll need more info to help more thoroughly.

I,ve prob when i push A/C. It goes 1 to 1.5 or more ultimately... perhaps I need to clean my IACV valve. Plus i need information about correctlty reseting my ECU computer.
And what should be the cold start rev upto? is it 1.5 or 2 ...donno. If i knew i colud adjust.

Never cleaned my IACV, so I'm not authoritative on how to do it, BUT the ECU reset is easy. Pull the backup fuse from the engine bay, and leave it out for 15 minutes. Replace the fuse, then start the car. Let it idle for another 5-10 minutes with no accessories running, until the engine's fully warm, then turn off the car. The ECU reset procedure is complete
