Anyone use them on their teg ? Im thinking aobut getting some because I drive on alot of backroads and I heard they really keep your paint from getting chipped. The thing is they look ugly as hell, do they really prevent alot of chips ? anyone have some used for sale ? ~John

 

Are there not mud guards stock on the thing? I've got some small ones they look fine and work rather well considering the size. 95 GSR

 

I had to take the stock mudgaurds off because
a)they looked bad
b)they scraped over every speed bump.

I haven't noticed my car get dirtier around the wheel wells since I took them off. Do you think your paint is chipping or something?

 

No, its not chipping. But I just got it and want to take every step I can do to save the paint. Also, the reason I am so concerned aobut chips/scratches is it is black, and as wee all know chips stand out sooo easily on black.

HAHAHA, mine didn't come with them, so I spent like $150 cdn and bought a set from Acura. Keeps the sides of the car a little cleaner that's about it. I think it looks o.k. You aren't going to chip the sides of the car with stock width tires. I don't know if you could even with wider tires? I chipped up the side skirting on my Supra with wider tires.

I'd be more worried about the hood/front end if I were you. A CF hood looks so sweet on a black car.
