its stuck in the closed position, when i press the switch, the motor runs but the sunroof only nudge a lil bit and than stopped, i tried pusshing it up, i tried manually opening it, nothing works..

my question is, to take the sunroof out, does it have to be in the open position ? or can i take it apart with it closed ?

in my legend, its easy to take it apart when its closed so im not sure if its the same with the integra

oh my bad, forgot to mention, its a 98

 

mine and my brothers did the same thing.. we just pushed it REALLY hard.. it feels like it'll break but it'll slide back.. mine made a cracking noise, but its just the plastic pieces on the side that are stuck.. needa oil them down or something because they get stuck.. once you have it open you'll find out what im talking about.. black plastic pieces dont slide back at the same time your sunroof does because of friction

we both have 94 integras

 

I'm pretty sure all power sunroofs are required to have manual cranks. Does yours work at all?

 

i tried the manual crank, it works but its still stuck, i forced it pretty hard and it still doesnt move

i also tried pushing it REALLy hard as cooldood had suggested but no luck

i'll stop by the honda dealer tomorrow and see what they can do
