Default clutch slipping or tires bouncing? nooooob Q

damn, might be a dumb question and i hate having to ask, but when i shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd while racing (legally of course) the car bounces.. i always thought this was my tires but i do remember a time when i would shift and my tires screeched but didnt bounce last summer. i never worried about it until my buddie told my it was my clutch but it never slips during normal driving. whats my deal? thnxx

go about 30mph, put it in 5th and floor it. If the car revs quickly your clutch is going out. If not, no idea what to tell you.

Check your mounts, your engine could be jumping around absorbing your torque and power off the line. Adjust your clutch cable/pedal to spec, maybe your clutch is just out of adjustment. Good luck.

It's called wheel hop. Could be your shocks going out, motor mounts shitting on you, or if you put different tires on it could be because of that.
