TB and Intake Manifold Issue

Being a poor man's version of type R, i am trying to cut corners...currently my set up is B20B with JDM GSR head...of course the internal parts have been mod...JDM CTR cams, cam gears, ITR valve springs, etc....i am also interested in looking into changing my head to JDM ITR without the TB and Intake Manifold as it is kinda expensive...i am proposing the B16A TB and Intake but enlarge it to 64mm....would there be any difference...(for arguments sake lets forgo the discussion on CR at this moment)....

cheers :)

you could keep the head you have now and get a skunk2 or similar manifold and a tb of your choice.

:werd:

The skunk2 manifold for the GSR is basically a copy of the ITR manifold, but with the GSR head bolt pattern. Then you can run whatever TB you want, ITR, bored GSR, aftermarket, etc.

BTW, I hope you aren't running a stock block to 8k and beyond.
