Whats a good cost for someone haveing there timing belt changed? i was quoated by Acura for about $485 and i was just wondering if that was about right...

 

Why not call a few local places near you and ask? I would say that's close to the amount most dealers will charge...

 

If that includes the waterpump, it is a deal. If not, it is a typical price of most mechanics. I got mine changed without waterpump for $475.

 

I say about $600.00

Do it in your buddys garage

 

if my buddy knew how to do it i would be more than happy to do it that way but i dont think that they do... and im not too sure that i want to trust my engine on something like that... its not something that i want messed up (if you know what i mean)
