Exhaust System?

Sup everyone, just joined the board and would like to ask a question.

I have a 2000 Acura Integra GSR and would like to know the best exhaust system I should get for it. I'm more interested in performance than anything else, but I would also like it to be legal.

I already have an AEM V2 Cold Air Intake and Fuel Rail on it and now I'm ready for a new upgrade.

Apexi WS

I have been looking at a lot of Apexi exhaust systems, but in all their descriptions they don't support 2000-2001 Integra GSRs. They seem to only support 1994-1999 GSRs.

Does anyone sport an Apexi exhaust system on a 2000+ GSR? If so do they work and install fine or is there a modification to be made?

one thing you need to decide is how loud you want it to be and how much you wanna spend. most high-quality cat-back exhaust systems are gonna be $450+.

Well I already said I'm more interested in performance, but I would prefer it not to sound like a weed wacker. I already looked at a lot of prices and I know they range from $400 to $600, I just want opinions form others who own Integras and have gone through this process.

for sounds of exhaust.

as far as exhaust goes their all the same if your buying a full cat back, the choice is what kind of sound. if i were you, i'd look at greddy evo or the sp, nice and deep all the way (i choose evo II). but hey... that's me.

The 2000-01 B18C1 A pipes are the same length as the 94-01 B18b1, so yeah it should fit.

Most all G3 Integra header/exhausts are interchangeable except for the 94-99 GSR.

If your interested in a performance exhaust system then the Apexi WS might not be for you. That catback utilizes a chambered designed muffler, that's why it has a quiet tone. You should look for a straight-through design which of course is going to be somewhat louder.

I just completed my exhaust setup.

the best comprimise between sound and performance would be anything with a twin-loop design.

Hytech and Mugen makes a twin-loop catback
