Default Opinions on Tires Please

Well After HOURS of pouring over specs, reviews and pricing from various sites I've decided between the following tires:

Kumho Ecsta Supra 712
-seems to be loud, and has bad treadwead bad sidewall strength
-very aggressive looking tire, cheap cost, good wet traction

Kumho Ecsta ASX
-I live in Canada so having tires that can handle a bit of snow isn't a bad idea
-They look crappy
-Good treadwear, better ride comfort and noise

Bridgestone Potenza RE750
-Just seems like a good tire all around!
-Expensive though! (for my budget)

I've also looked at the Ecsta 711 and the Yoko AV ES100 but decided I wouldn't get these.

Can anyone add any input? Just seems like whatever I buy will depend on my mood that day, but maybe something can sway me in a certain direction.

Btw these are gonna be on 15" wheels and I will probably get them in 205/50/R15. Bit wider than stock but similar circumference

If you live in Canada, I would stay away from the Khumo's and Yoko's those are great for Florida like climants (ie rain/dry).

I have a set of Michelin Arctic Alpins for the Winter so snow isn't a problem if that is what you are inferring

I have had two sets of Kumho's: one for my fat fives and one for my 17's and I will never buy Kumho tires again. They wear out way too fast. I would go with the bridgestones out of all those.

agreed, kumho's are horrible. my friend burnt his out in like 7k miles, but of course some hard driving, but wore out a lot faster than tires should.

Thanks for the input! Had no idea they were that bad. Was searching team-integra and most people seem happy with them. Oh well.

i have a set of 712s in ZR trim on my R as a daily/rainy/wet tire setand they have given me no troubles at all
good grip and life for the price, but i prefer my pilot sports for performance oriented driving IMHO

i have the 712's on my 17'2 and the ASX's on my 15's which i am driving right now. They r both good tires. i liked the 712's because of its better grip, but they r summer tires. The ASX's have about 10K on them right now and they r still great in grip, but a bit louder than in the beginning. But since u live in Canada, i would say to go with the ASX's for its All-Season capabilities.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah. If there is an unexpected snowfall, or early (like in September!) then I hear the 712's just crap out in that stuff.

I'm leaning towards the ASX's . But to be honest, the 712's just look so good for summer!

Who says marketing doens't work. =(
