I'm thinking of upgrading my CD player in my 99 teg, possibly to a flip-up screen type unit (Example: Pioneer AVIC-N1), but do to the way the A/C controls are possitioned I don't see how I would be able to do this. Anyone have one of thses types of head units in their teg? Pics would also be helpful, thanks.

 

you have to get it mounted in the lower portion of the radio opening for it to flip up. it will probably still cover the controls still though.

 

Yeah, I want to do the same thing but VPUPPY is right you have to re-arrange some things in the "Center Console" for lack of a better phrase. The little cubby and the original stereo have to be switched around for the LCD to clear the heat/ac controls.
