i have a 95LS.. i dunno much about motors.. guessing i have a b18b... its stock ls motor but rebuilt and had forged pistons 8.5:1 pistons eventually gonna be boosted.. but n e way... he was saying we at least needed a hydrolic tranny and there gonna charge us around $1500 just for a used one with 60,000 miles on it (not including labor) so if i can find one new for that much or close to that much which i have.. im just gonna go with that one.. thank

That should fit, better gear ratios then the stock ls engine too

 

oh really i thought it would... but then again ive heard the type r trannys will only go on the B16a , B16a1 , B16a2 , B18c , B18c5 , B20b , B20z.. mine doesnt fall in there but ive just heard that so i dunno for sure but i dont know why it wouldnt go with it... maybe has something to do with not having vtec????.. but no idea

 

an itr tranny will bolt to any b series block excluding the b20a's from early preludes.

 

It will bolt up to your block. The type r and the B16 tranny are 2 of the best trannies due to there shorter gears. And the Type R has LSD

 

What is LSD?

 

limited slip differential. you can do your own search on what that is.
