MahoneyL80 11-23-2004 05:05 PM

2001 GS....my girl works at a ford dealership and its one of their used cars...sticker price is 15,900 but since she works there and sells a hell of a lot of cars she can get it for 9,500 so shes bringing it home tonight to see if i want it or not....red w/ black leather 5 speed

teg92 11-23-2004 05:07 PM

shit not bad I would go for it

MahoneyL80 11-23-2004 05:08 PM

yeah i want to go for it...but its getting put in her name since her credit is a lot better than mine...just hope she gets financed tomorrow when they send in her credit application....if not ill be pissed after driving it tonight

teg92 11-23-2004 05:09 PM

who is her?

MahoneyL80 11-23-2004 05:11 PM

my g/f slash wife...weve been together for 4 yrs...but yeah...the only downside is it will be so damned heavy....all leather...power windows power locks power mirrors and moonroof.....its gonna be a beast if i get it...or atleast until i start putting some money into it

MahoneyL80 11-23-2004 05:59 PM

just got done driving it...drove it for about 5 miles or so most of it on the highway...let me tell you...ill be screwing that car every day if we get it tomorrow...unbelievable how much difference there is between a b18 and a d15...or the difference between a brand new clutch, shorter gears and 4w disc brakes....only problem...everytime i engage the clutch and about 50% of the time i disengaged it...there was a significant click sound...like someone had a tiny hammer and was knocking on the undercarraige towards the central section of the car....2 people at her work said it was because its a new clutch...one was theory....i wouldnt know considering ive never put a new clutch on a used car...any ideas?

teg92 11-24-2004 06:02 AM

so did you get it?

Running925 11-24-2004 06:54 AM
