I can't make up my mind on what to do to my new dc2 I know im going to get the JDM ITR conversion, it looks so much cleaner then the bug eye. but any ways id like a lil help for the front end I just cant make up my mind.
It's a toss up between the Mugen front, TopFuel, or a Spoon cf front lip. SPOON CF LIP

My dcs is going to be mostly Mugen parts but I dont know about the front bumper. I'm also stuck on the choice of a hood too so I guess I better get the help while I'm at it. I know I want a cf hood but I dont know about the oem I found a nice looking hood but I dont know if it will go with the over all look of the car.

I say stick with the eye bug and get a 98-01 front bumper with a type r lip. I love the JDM front end, but to me, it look too much like an accord from far away. But if i had to chose, i would get the mugen front end.

 

Well with my new dc2 I'm trying to go as jdm as possiable. Where I am located there is a really good shop that dose rhd conversions and maby some day in the future I will have the conversion done. As of right now I'm saving money for the 5 lug conversion and the jdm type r wheels. Thx for your input!!!

 

Why don't you spend your money beefing up the engine instead of making it look like something it isn't and will never be?

 

Well, if you have a 97... the 93-94 over there looked basically the same as the 94-97s here....

But I can think of a thousand and one things that would be more bang for the buck than an ITR front end, RHD, and a 5 lug conversion... namely a turbo and coilovers.

So, I'm not really being helpful in the sense that I'm not answering your question, but I am trying to be helpful in stopping you from making an unintentional money pit...

 

for all the money you are spending, couldnt you just buy an imported RHD ITR???

 

Well I'm sure I could import but I dont want to deal with that shiot at the moment. And any ways right now inroute I have coming to me a turbonetics complete turbo kit, jdm 98 spec ITR complete motor swap thanks to my homeboi stationed in japan, massive ammounts of mugen and skunk2 goodies in route also. I'm also looking at the front end conversion for lighter weight. The current conversion I'm looking at is all carbonfiber. I'm in the process of gutting the interior of all the plastic and usless crap. I got my lexan windows today so those will be installed shortly. And I'm also looking for a carbonfiber rear hatch. Money is nothing to me a quick 30g is nothing but chump change.

 

Just found a true rhd jdm type R for sale in my local area so out with the new and in with the better new long live the dc2 itr!!!!!!
