1994 Integra GSR needs Turbo'ed

I am looking to purchase a turbo for my car in the near future and would like to know what is the best way to go. i would like to increase the Horse power by 100HP without any major mods to the engine. Other than just installing the Turbo Kit. I called greddy and they said that there turbo would not work do to the Computer that I have on mine is not compatible. That is the one that I wanted to purchase but that road seems to be blocked. Any Ideas

you need to tune it and to do that you need a new ECU.
You don't just slap it on and go.

You can run the greddy turbo kit, but you would just need to buy a new engine managment system because Im guessing the Greddy Blue Box wont work

the greddy blue box will work, there is just a different wiring diagram for it. when i installed the greddy turbo on my car, there were instructions for 96 and up, and also another page for 94-95 integras. Do a search and I'm sure you can find how to wire it up. Check out honda-tech. i'm sure its been covered there

Thanks for the suggestions, I have seem the Greddy for sale for 94's but wasnt sure if that would work, since greddy told me it wouldn't. Thanks again keep posts coming if you have any other suggestions. Anyone have any Idea how much the new management system will cost?

What about this turbo? Does it have everything that I need and is $3399 a good price? The shipping is free as well. Will I still need to get a ecu? Or is that just so that it can be tuned to the max? Any help is great guys you rock !!

if you tune your setup, you wont need to go with such a high boost application.... efficiently maximizing power potential goes further than hardware mods...

I am looking to push 300whp when I am finished with this engine. The engine is in great condition now but has 180K on it. Should I have the internal engine components inspected before I add anything like a turbo.

At least a compression and leakdown test, you really need to know what you're getting into before you go through with it.
