Default New to the Family, Basic simple bolt ons to gain hp??

hello,

I'm new to the acura family, don't even have the car under my name yet and I'm already thinking about what to add for simple looks and low hp gains,

the car is a 95 LS auto, non vtec (99% sure non vtec at least) and i was wondering what are some pretty simple bolt on upgrades like chips, exhaust, w/e that will improve performance

I'm not looking at spending too much, just adding a little extra go, and also what are the best on line dealers for thus said parts??

right now I'm looking at some new lights, a new head unit, but as far as performance goes I'm completely in the dark as to what actually will yield a gain in hp

thx

Ian-

its vtec... im not gonna rip on you about it, but dont be suprised if you do. as for I/H/E, you really wanna search, you will find TONS of information on performance products. you dont know how manny threads are posted that sound exactly like yours.

the usual mods are intake/headers/exhaust, there are manny different opinions about different brands, so id say you should reaserch what will best suit you. tires, and suspenions is another thing that people do, which also helps out, but again, theres so manny options, you just need to research you best siuited application. some will tell you to keep you money and boost it, others will say NA is best.

btw, is there anyway to look up specifics on what came with the different models from year to year?? i want to be sure on the vtec/non vtech thing

the reason why i cant remember if the one i am buying has it or not is that i have looked at several with in the past few days before putting the paperwork through and it really wasn't on my mind at the time, but if your sure that it is vtec i guess ill take your word for it :
