Default honda made or aftermarket cv joint

Well, I just replaced my outer (driver's side) cv joint with a brand new one from Honda and a week (and $250) later, the inner joint goes bad. So I'm wondering what people's opinions are on aftermarket axels. Does anyone sell just the inner joint since the outer one is brand new? I've looked around a little bit and I've only seen the whole axel for sale or really, really expensive ones...
any advice is appreciated.

I've used rebuilt axles many times without incident.

I would never buy a cv joint or axle from Honda. If I was going to purchase a new axle, it would have to be a stronger assembly from an aftermarket manufacturer.

I agree whole-heartedly. You can get a rebuilt axle from a parts store for half the price (maybe even less that half) of a Honda axle. Many times they come with a lifetime warranty too.

some people swear by the autozone rebuilds.. they're probably the cheapest..

raxles can probably help you out as well.. good products and decent prices..

You've got to watch those, I personally have had an inner axle come apart(Napa). I have also installed plenty that were noisy. If you go aftermarket definatly up grade.
