Hi im a new user and i need some help. I wrecked my 98 itr in spt. 03 since then i bought a theft recoverd 97 type-r in jan. It had nothing at all in it. everything bolts over but im confused about the gauge cluster its not the same but its close. For instance my seat belt light dosn't come on or go off but when i put my seat belt on my fuel gauge moves to full ect... also how can i find out what # my 97 is. my 98 was #517 any hwlp would be appritiated. :?

I have read in posts here before that there was never any records that show what number any one car had,such as a vin corrilation. just know that you are one of the lucky 500 or so to have a 97 8)

Not 500, more like 1100 in 1998, if you wonder where I came up with that- then check this site.

didnt he say his 97? I thought there were aroun 500 or so 97's he said he was putting his drive train in a 97 thus i said around 500 or so. maybe i read it wrong :lol:

on this site it stats that there was never a record kept of the number of R's in the years it was in the US. but if you also read in the same area it says there are about of close to 700 or so 97's floating around.
