get some motor mount inserts and some BFG drag radials and you won't hop. 111mph is good for low 12's high 11's on slicks. congrats on the time

I already have the hasport motor mounts with the solid rear mount... but you're right i do really need slicks.... my best mph was 113.1 ... my friend was their and ran 11.9 at 116 .... it's all about the traction....

you mentioned that your tach got a little wild after 7k.. this is when your are putting most stress on your ignition components. i am assuming you are making about 325 hp. what are you running as far as ignition is concerned? sounds like a bumt coil. by the way, if you are running aftermarket, is it an analog unit (msd 6al, jacobs, etc) or digital (msd DIS series, accel, etc) . hondas don't like analog. ( crazy voltage spikes!) these spikes will eat up factory ignitors and coils. good luck

The problem with the tach is only a display problem. What i mean by that is.... when i plug my lap top into the aem ems the rpms are reading perfectly. Some where between the ems and the gauge cluster the signal is getting messed up. So i took out the cluster and found the speed sensor wire that controlls rpms had been spliced into and had part of another wire that had been cut hanging off it. So i removed what was there and crimped in a new wire. It helped because now i can go to 7K at least and sometimes it doesn't do it , but sometimes it still does. I'm going to try saudering the wire in and see if that does it. By the way, I'm running the msd 7 digital with the hvc coil and a new distributor. ( those are definitly not the problem )
thanks for the reply...
