Default does greddy make ballbearing turbo kits??

Can you upgrade the regular greddy turbo with a ball bearing one, better yet does it come with a ball bearing turbo? Im looking for a turbo "kit" for a 94-00 GS-R.

How much more are ball bearing turbos than regular?

The Mitsubishi turbos GReddy uses in their kits are conventional, not ball-bearing.

Greddy's turbo is so small it spools so fast already. No need for a bb.

So the greddy turbos are already fairly small? Would i gain more hp/torque from a bigger turbo that was bb, that way i dont have as much turbo lag. What I mainly plan on doing is autoX but i will drag on occasion. I dont really like the idea of a supercharger.

for autox you want a small turbo, cause your gonna get below 4k rpm occasionally.

I was considering getting the Greddy kit in the future if i ever went F/I. I'm more of a track/auto-x type though....how fast do you want to go in the 1/4?

I don't think it'll hurt to have a larger BB turbo in auto-x though...because as I'm sure you know power doesn't matter nearly as much (and I think with a BB you shouldn't bog as badly). On a track though the higher boost levels you'll be running will stress your engine like a mofo...even if you built it up correctly (higher heat levels etc.)

If I'm talking outta mah @zz lemme know , but this is what I've generally heard from the autox/track crowd.

Yeah but those are run on supras. The honda/acura turbo kits come with mitsubishi td04 and td05 turbos. They are small in comparison to other turbo kits on the market.
