I read on a previously posted message that someone said that realtime got the first 2 r's made in 97 actually a friend of mine bought 97-0002 and his brother wrecked it. :twisted:

It is true...BUT there are actually cases where the numbers of two seperate ITR's having the same number. Must be a mistake from the factory.
Is your bother's car USDM?

It could have been numbered by the other owner... not too hard to get a fake number plate.

Especially if Realtime sold the interiors! I know for a fact that Taz Harvey had number 1.

Also, different years "re-use" numbers...for example, I have '98 #0234. One day, while on ITRCA, I found someone with '00 #0234. You can imagine my surprise...I always thought they were serial numbered so that you know what number yours is. ITRCA administrator answered my question, telling me that different years use different numbers.
