Default leaking problems

I just bought a 93 LS. It's a great car. The problem is it is leaking oil right on the leftside of my head. My buddy said its just a gasket I have to replace. Is he right? He said it is common on my models. New here so I'd like to say wassup to everybody up in here.

Maybe a cam seal. Sounds like it. Golden eagle makes a good one, str makes one too.

Yeah, usually it's the exhaust cam seal that allows that particular leak to happen. You can fix the problem by replacing the seal with a billet aluminum piece like rgbpmp mentioned.

You can find the billet seals pretty much anywhere, here is one such example: http://www.optauto.com/webstore/prod...t=493&last=493
