Default Leaky Teg

I live in Vancouver BC and man can it rain here, not usually a big deal until i looked at my spare tire space the other day. I was filled with about 2 inches of water causing the jack and tools to start to rust! Since then i've found that the water is not getting in from the hatch or leaky seals but seems to be coming up from underneath. It seems to be coming from under the plastic walls of the trunk which is above the spare tire well height so the cardboard cover and carpet are getting wet! What the heck could this be, and how would water be getting in there? Anyone have any ideas or experience with this?

definently tailight gaskets, i'd get some clear silicone and seal around the outter plastic of the tailight lens when you change the gaskets for the tailights

Just yanked the trunk apart and went to the sunroof drain tubes first. Oddly enough there was no signs that water had ever flown down those tubes so i soaked the sunroof for a while and checked for water drainage...nuthin...so those weren't the problem. I cleaned everything down and soaked the whole car this time and climbed in to watch for leakes....sure enough....water steadily dripping down the holes around the tail lights. Thanks hondatech, any idea what i'd be paying for new gaskets and those clips that i had to break to get the back panel off?

Thanks

Yo, it is written in the manual how to remove the clips without breaking them. Those dealers are a$$holes when it come to those clips, i went to the junk yard and took them off another integ. They should be 50 cent each at the dealer. 50 cent...lemme go get some music...

Thanks for the reply axhammer, I wish they were 50 cents from the dealer....I called up and they want $32 for each seal and almost $5 for each clip. That must be some sort of mistake...what a joke. I'll just silicon the spots where it's leaking and get some diffent clips.
