Default 1995 Integra->ABS Code 18. Any advice?

That's the code that was just pulled from my friend's integra using the paper clip method. Looked it up in the shop manual, and it listed 3 or 4 different things it could be. Anyone ever dealt with this before? Any advice on how to fix it?

Nope, no recent tire work. But he bought the car used a month or two ago, and its had the ABS light come on and off intermittently. The service manual gives these descriptions of what code 18 means:

High pressure system
Accumulator gas leakage
Change release valve set pressure
Rear outlet solenoid valve late to close
Change pressure switch set pressure

My Haynes manual says SPECIFICALLY that code 18 is "Accumulator gas leakage" on 1997 and earlier Integra models.

BTW, Chilton manuals are only useful for toilet paper IME. But I'm sure you guys know that already

Hope this helps. :thumbup:
