Default ebrake ?

Alright guys, I have a strange problem with my ebrake light in the dash.........it goes on in the moring when I first start my car and stays on all the way to work (only about 2 miles). The ebrake is obviously not on ...... car rolls freely........ When I start my car at lunch or after work it does not stay on (acts normal). This has just started to happen since it is getting colder outside (I park outside). Could this be that the ebrake cables are shrinking/being more restrictive just a hair and thereby causing the ebrake to never fully disengage until it warms up? What do you all think? TIA Do you think that simply taking a little tension out of the ebrake cables would fix this? Is it maybe just that my brake fluid is low?

check your brake fluid. i did that and replaced the brake fluid cap last year and that fixed it, but mine is doin the same this year, so i'm gonna check my fluid and go from there once again.
