Default tire sizes

I currently have the stock gsr rims on my integra with 195/50/15 tires on my car. I was thinking of buying a set of 16 inch rotas, but I want the lowest profile tire available so I could clear my inner fender. Many people tell me to go with 205/40/16. How does the overall diameter of the 195/50/15 compare with the 205/40/16? Anyone with a dropped car with 205/40 series tires have problems?

I'd go with 205/45 for 16 inch rims, for sure. 205/40s are too thin. If you were to go with 17s then it would definitely be better to go with 205/40s.

That's weird, I thought that stock tire size for GSR's were 195/55/15?

the stock gsr tires are 195/55/15, but my car is pretty low. I'm running 195.50's because it clears my inner fender and doesn't rub at all.
