Looking to buy an Integra for my bro's first car. Some Q's...

My little brother will be turning the legal driving age in about a year and a half. He has wanted an Integra for years now, and it is my wish to make it true for him. I also want to dive into the world of Honda/Acura tuning, as Audi's are getting too expensive and complicated for me to mod.

I really don't know much about the Integra. I want to start with a nice clean example and work from there. My modifications will probably be limited to suspension, brakes, intake, exhaust, wheels/tires, interior, and sound.

What is a good year and model to start with? I want to spend about $5K on the car before modifications.

Thanks in advance for any help.

that's pretty cool of you. I wish i was your brother. You are going to get a lot of diversified opinions. Something with a stick is for sure. Good luck!

Save your brothers life, get him something slow. If my brother/parents plopped my butt in a GS-R at 16 I probably wouldn't be around today.

Why not look at older manual Honda Civic or possibly an 8V GTI?

i got a 94 integrawhen i turned 16 it was my dads old car and i got it handed down from him and im still here. It depends on how smart your borther is i'd make him drive a dif car before buying him a gsr
