1st post!! - Problem with my car!@#!

Hello acura//honda world my name is randy, I am a proud owner of a 2001 s4, a4, and now my new toy a 94 integra RS. I recently have done my clear bumper corners, and now I wanted to do my gauges.
I tries to install my gauges, and it came out really bad! I have not been able to get my RPM meter back up and running fiine. Sadly, i purchased the cheap version "hiper" and was not happy with the results. As I type my car is gaugeless and RPM does not work, any ideas on how to fix?
thanks for any help

The difference has begun.....

Be careful, these guys might call you a ricer for that... As for guages I have no experience. Just be prepared to be flamed. Maybe this post will prevent some of the flaming, probably not though.

you dont pull your needles out when installing gauges.. i hope you know that.. if you did.. you will have to buy a new cluster.. please give more info

the gauges just slip right over the needles. check to see if they are on right and make sure that the gauge isnt touching the needle.

Yeah, I'm thinkin of ordering gauges, I don't like the stock green backlight. Anyone know how much it would be for install on gauges?

^ j/ install it yourself and learn that way.

as for quattro: i first did the clear bumper lights too but switched to all amber, i think it looks cleaner. im not sure on the gauges though. they should just slip over like the previous people said. and i test drove a blue 01 a4 quattro 5 speed on friday. that car is amazing and handles great. pm me with some pictures please. good luck with your integra

i would take it to the dealer to see if they can recalibrate the needles...if not its going to cost a lot to do it
the backlit on integras can be changed with the bulbs
most people go for the type-R look and put amber bulbs in it, but its 3 "197" bulbs i belive to change the color of the backlit on your cluster
