New pedals

The clutch pad in my '98 Integra has been worn right down to the pedal, and with the rainy season coming up quick, I'd like to know if anyone has any experience with a good pedal set. Thanks.

OEM. Those fancy pants, pseduo racing pedals are all slip and no grip when your feet are wet.

I need pedals too, but most aftermarket ones look like they have less grip as opposed to the better grip they claim.

Mügen makes a set. Of course they are more expensive then you can imagine.

the carbon fiber sparco ones come with grip tape...for more grip. you can buy some from a skate shop and stick them on any pedal if you wanted. i dont know if its gunna look very nice though.you probably only need a strip on top of the pedal and at the bottom.

Not sure if grip tape is the stuff to get. It seems like it might interfere with the slip action. Assuming that all of you guys slip with your ankles instead of moving your entire leg back and forth.

grip tape shouldn't affect that much, it should give the grip that is needed without hampering shifting much if at all. I thought about going that route but instead went with aftermarket pedals and I really like them

You can take off the stock rubber piece, and put the grip tape from the skate shop on the flat metal piece, and then buy a new rubber piece to cover the grip tape when its not raining...just a suggestion though....:dunno:
