welding at least since teh h22 is an 87mm bore and teh f22 is an 85 mm bore.
then add the fact that revving that f22 bottom end to 7500 to make the power in the h22a head is gonna kill that lower end fast.
you would do better to find a b20a out of a jdm lude since it is a lot more direct a swap, will cost less and is 160 hp stock.

1st, it's not gonna be high performance..
2nd, it's gonna cost quite some cash and will be problematic, it will..
3rd, find a more common setup..

Show me this so called link.

The bolt patterns wont even match up. It'd be about the same as putting a b16 head on a d16 block.

It is possible but is ridiculously difficult. So difficult that it's much much smarter to get a whole H22 engine.

just out of dumb curiosity, is it possible to put a f series vtec head on an f series non vtec block? (f22a1 block w/ f22b1 head etc) is it worth it, kind of like a mini me swap?

it's not worth the effort, the gain is not that much.
