Default JBL BP300.1s wit 2 Alpine Type-Rs?!?

Should i get a JBL BP300.1 Amp wit 2 Alpine Type-Rs?!? Will the amp be able to power the subs, or do i have to get something like the 600.1?

will it work, yes, but it will be louder and sound better with the more power....it's a fairly cheap upgrade to get the 600, so go for it...

Like what rcurley said, it will, but if you want it to sound good you need more power. I think the Type Rs are like 300 or 350 rms? I forget.

Definitely no point in going with the weaker amp when the 600.1 is just a little more....

How ironic, I just heard my friends 2 12" alpine type r's hooked to a jbl 600...very nice. surprisingly loud, with nice deep bass. Go for the 600.
