i need help with this problem. i need to know how can i make the 99-00 si harness work in my 97 hatch

 

The wiring harness? WHat swap are you doing?

 

its a ls vtec. 96 gsr head. im trying to use this harness because i have a aem ems for it.trying to save money

 

Basically hook up the harness piece by piece and attach the similiar plugs. I'd start with the injectors because that will give you an idea of where to start.

 

everything plugs up to the engine. the si harness has 2 plugs for the ecu on the engine harness and the 3rd one is on the under dash harness.96-98 has all 3 plugs on the engine harness. how can i make that work

 

you cant use the 99 si wire harness becuase it only has the 2 plugs for the ecu,i guess you could but you goin to have to replace the hole wire harnees under the dash,i was goin to use a99si wire harness for mine,but i didnt because of that reason,i used my stock dx harness and wired vtec i hope this helped you

 

ok i used the stock harness. but my car will not rev past 4,000. im getting cel, 4,7, 91, crank angle. did you have any problems with yours. im using a 97 ex ecu
