how loud are they without the silencer placed in it? I know about RS*R, and I'd be in on it, but mine is an everyday driver, and I do the occasional 4-hour trip to see my pops, if it's too loud on the highway, or ticket-tempting in town, nevermind.

its pretty loud without the silencer, but since the silencer comes with it you dont have to worry much, the sound dimms down alot.

I dunno why I'm continuing to nag you with questions, this won't be the exhaust for me, I'll probably end up using the silencer all the time ... but, the muffler/end is stainless, is the rest of the piping aluminized or just painted flat black?
