Default I don't know where to begin!!!

Hi, i'm new to the forum. I have a 2000 LS i dropped a 97 b18c in it, using a 95 p72 with s300. i really don't know where to begin. about a year ago, i turboed it, had custom exhaust put on. i've never charged the turbo. it's been blowing off in the atmospere. it all started when i changed the head gasket, i got it all back together and the vtec would engage loud and it would drag the car down. i went through everything i could think of and everything i read. oil pressure and lvl is good, timing is good. single crank mark on the lil tab on timing cover. cam arrows up, engin up. (i say engin up b/c it leans slightly forward) which matches the marks on the cam gears being as close as they can get. timed it 16 deg before tdc. even changed silonoid and got the same results. then the other day the timing belt came loose, i tightened it and it came loose again, luckly i was 1/2 a block from the house. so i puttered back to the garage. the dang thing keeps coming loose. i took it off today and try the old one, see if it stays tight. i don't know, i'm beating my head against the wall trying to get it all straightened out. any help would be so awsome!!
Thanks,
Kurt

Did you buy a timing belt for a b18c? Did you buy a new tensioner? The ls belt is differnt because of the water pump.

Thanks for the help. i got it figured out. i replaced the tensioner. that fixed the belt. and as far as the vtec goes, the trubo was robbing enought oil from the vtec that it wasn't engaging.
