Default q's for anyone with a hybrid

Are you runing the civic fuel pump with your B series motor?
I know I am running the civic pump so I was wondering if I'm still getting the full potential out of my B series.
Would I get much more hp if I put in a new fuel pump? Costs?
Anyone's input will help- Thanks

Unless you feel a problem with your swap.. like hesitation, etc. your stock fuel pump should be fine. I upgraded mine, but now I have to invest in fuel pressure regulators, etc cause I'm running to rich. Bad idea in my eyes.

No you won't get any/much more power.

Cost is dependant upon what type and who manufactures the fuel pump. They run from about 100-400. Walbro is the cheapest and quite good.

my stock CX pump was a bit strained, and couldnt deliver enough fuel to my b16. my car ran like shit until i swapped out the pump with a walbro 255lph.

Never changed one fuel part. Not even the line. Runs like a champ.

I guess I should probably get the OEM b16 or b18 fuel pump cause I don't want any hassle and I'm broke. Let me know if thats a bad idea for some reason. Thanks for the input guys.

My CX's pump with 165k miles still ran fine. I don't think you'll see any gains unless your old pump is going south. A new fuel pump is wroth investing in, if nothing else, piece of mind (pumps only last so long).

I run the BBK/Walbro 255 lph pump, but I'm turboed so I need the extra fuel for my 550cc injectors.

I did have a fuel problem when I first swapped and the main fix was replacing the Civic fuel line from the rail to the filter with the GSR line.
