Default EX Gauge cluster

I was wondering if anyone has ever installed gauge faces on a 96-00 ex cluster. I was also wondering if you can remove the needles without breaking them. My brother ran into that problem. One of them just snapped off.

You just have to weasel them around the needles. They cannot be removed without ****ing them up in one way or another. Just bend the face slightly, and slide it over the needle.

yeah, that's how I did it in my dx, but he broke off the fuel gauge needle. I guess he is going to buy a new cluster. I was going to ask if anyone had the fuel/temp gauge from an 96-00 ex, but I'm assuming no one would.

Normally if you can find one at a junkyard, and someone did the same thing to a different gauge, they'll sell it to you really cheap. If it was a 5th gen, I could help you out. Spood had one with a bent needle that pissed him off, so he got a new cluster.
