Offered for sale is a 1997 BMW M3 sedan, Alpine White/ black nappa leather. 98.5k miles, mostly freeway, So Cal car. Previous owner had a Placentia/Torrance freeway commute. I'm the second owner and it's my wife's daily driver for the past two years to/from work, about 11 miles each way. Selling because she saw an '02 M3 she really wants.

Very strong motor, never tracked. 95% new tires, rims were freshly powdercoated two months ago. Mobil 1 exclusively in motor, tranny, diff. $18k OBO. Email for more detailed description/pics.

Free bump...and sorry man, no way in hell anyone is going to pay $18,500 for an M3 with nearly 100,000 miles on it.

Not on a Honda board.

Ehh, worth a shot. Can't hurt to get the word out. Plus, this car is prob the only one on custom powdercoated TE37's.

Not sure about steep. What price do you have in mind? Have you checked out typical '97 M3 sedan prices on the net? I think it's a fair price on paper, but when the prospective buyer drives it, he/she will know they are getting a solid M3.

Pretty good deal. But if price is the only factor when buying a used M3, then it may not be the right car for the buyer. Gotta drive it, and if it's in as good condition as mine, then it's def. a steal!
