Default ZC, what's possible?

What is the potential for the ZC engine as far as power gains? What is typically done to get there? Turbo? :naughty:

I am a little new to the Honda game, so bare with me. I am looking for possible swap ideas for my '89 Integra

Thanks,
Erik

Well, let's say it's $3k. This includes the cost of a JDM engine/trans.

This $3k would also get me a B16....but I want to know how close I can come to matching the B16's power with a ZC (easier swap into my Integra)

You can turbo the ZC, you can put nitrous on it, you can even supercharge them. The reason I asked how deep your pockets are is because if you want to try and beat b-series power numbers, you're going to spend a fair chunk of change and use a bit of ingenuity getting there. Personally, I would rather start with an LS engine and have the benefit of better aftermarket.

Otherwise it's time to start searching out the ZC worshippers for pointers and places to get parts to suit your purposes.
