Default did i get a good deal??

yo yo yo, i'm new here to the board and to my car (1995 gsr). so i bought my car from a dude (second owner) with 145k(highway) miles and a recent timing belt and cutch service. the paint is red a little faded spoiler needs to be painted, interior is flawless car drives fine and it has a dc sport catback. i bought it for $5,000. how long do these motors go for??? i used to have a 1990 bmw 325is which i loved til some stroke rearended and totaled it a weed ago. i got 200k miles and still runin strong on that car.

is 5 grand a good deal for a GSR?

Yes, you got a pretty solid deal. I hope the engine is at peak power. You may want to check it and have a compression test done.

Depending on your part of the country, that's a good deal to "****in excellent steal!"

I paid 7K for my 94 GS-R (white, 122K) and had the clutch go out on me 3 weeks later, and I still didn't feel ripped off... so I'd say 5K is pretty damn decent
