Default Lightweight Flywheel, anyone have one?

I just ordered a 7.5lb flywheel for my '95 Integra, and a 6-puck racing clutch. My question is for anyone who has this setup. Did you notice a difference with the lightened flywheel? Does the engine rev faster? Did you gain any acceleration? Thanks!

Where do you live in wisconsin? YOu can check out my gsr with a light flywheel if you want. I have a 7.5lbs fidanza with cm stg3 clutch. The engine does drop rpm's a lot faster, and it does seem to rev quicker too. There is a noticiable difference in performance too. I once drove a b16a crx with a 6-puck, and it just seemed too much for a street car.

For a street driven car, don't get a pucked clutch disc, stay with a full faced disc. As for flywheels, I too have the 7.5lb fidanza, with an ACT HDSS clutch...I love the combo.

9.5lb Fidanza flywheel here with Exedy Organic Clutch. There is a noticable difference in acceleration!

I believe it's 18 or 19lbs.

It definately helps your engine rev faster. Its a mod thats definately worth the money in my book.

It will take a little getting use to cause the engine wont have the extra weight to keep it spinning so you might stall while taking off a couple of times.

I agree about the clutch being to harsh for daily driven street use.

I live up in Appleton, stevie. What do you have done to your GSR? I might get my bottom end beefed up this weekend, not too sure on my cash flow at the moment however. Just dropped $500 on my flywheel/clutch. Yeah, the 6-puck might be a bit much, but I don't want to have to get one later when I get my dream turbo setup done. I don't really drive my teg much anyway, more of my weekend warrior. I got a '95 Taurus to beat around in That thing is a TANK! 100's of garbage cans/shopping carts and still no dents!

I've got a Clutch masters 9 lbs flywheel and stage 4 clutch.

Love the combo.

Revs much quicker, less drag on the motor .

You'll like it, for sure.
