you got a DC2? how on earth do you gain access to the speakers in the back? I've been planning to replace my rear speakers for a long time. Mine are just disconnected right now.

In the back speakers, those speaker grilles just pop off, but ya gotta get the whole panel off to actually get a new speaker in.

I figured it out a while ago. They sound pretty nice. Had to do some custom fabbing, but it came out alright. Here's what it looked like when I was doing it though -

Wow....... All that for some speakers. I want to see a final pic.

As for positive and negative..... take a battery, and from behind your headunit connect the pos to pos and neg to neg. Connect the speeaker as well. When you connect the battery your speaker will move. If the speaker pulls in it's wired backwards. If it pushes out it's correct.

Now for the easy answer.

Passenger side.... Red/ Yellow is positive and Brown /White is negative

Driver side.... Blue/Yellow is positive and White/Slate is negative

On a honda, the rule of thumb is if it is red or blue it is positive and the other one will be negative.

Speakers are running off an Alpine 9813 (60wx4). And thats real. I had to wire the damn thing direct to the battery (it'll run with the key out of the ignition too). Sounds pretty good. But kappas are known for shitty bass and for the time being I've got some badass mids and highs, but pretty much zero bass. Just have to put the sub in. And it looks totaly stock. You cant even tell I ever took the thing apart.
