Default Phoenix Yellow paint needed

Getting bored of plain old black on my RSX-S so think I'm gonna paint it over the next few weeks. I like the Phoenix Yellow paint you guys are rolling, anyone know where I can get some?

Call the dealership and find out what the paint code is for Phoenix Yellow and then tell your local paint/auto body person that paint code and they should be able to match up the color.

Thanks for the input. I considered that, but I had a few friends that had bad experiences with a "mix-n-match" deal. All of their cars turned out a little off. Its not a big deal with the Phoenix Yellow, yellow is yellow. I'm also toying with just using the Mazda RX-8 yellow and getting the paint from a Mazda dealership. Its almost the same I think.

Ok first Yellow is not the same from the RX8 to the ITR.
Second the paint code is (Y56)

And third PLEASE don't paint your RSX PY.

You'll get raped if you get the paint from a dealership. Any body shop that is worth a damn would be able to mix the paint correctly Sounds like the place your friends went to sucked ass. Find a better place to go. Sounds like they got a cheap paint job. You get what you pay for.

Yeah, I got vogue silver paint for my car (stock color) from Napa. the good stuff was $40/pint and it was a perfect match. Add in clear, reducer, and hardener, it was about $85/pint. Probably cheaper than the dealership, and it was still a great match. Also, yellow is NOT just yellow, there are so many different shades and hues.

Lets not argue over the different shades of Yellow. Yeah I like the Phoenix Yellow, but I put a pic of my buddy's Type R next to a photo of a yello RX-8 and I couldn't really tell the difference. Either way I've been sidetracked and haven't had the time to get the car done yet. I think that right now it'd be too expensive and not worth it since the car is still relatively new and the current paint job is flawless. Maybe I'll wait a year or two to do it.

Please do not paint your RSX-S Phoenix Yellow. That's exclusive to G3 ITRs and the NSX.

Try the RX8 blue?
