Default what color to paint my car?

I was just rearended a few days ago and am thinking of getting my whole car repainted. I just wanted to go with a nice clean black but my friend suggested a real real dark blue. this is for a G2 teg by the way. Anyways what colors do you all recommend would look nice on a 2-door G2?

Also maybe say what color wheels with a certain paint...I like bronze wheels with a black car and I think gunmetal looks good on a lot of colors...

1st choice, an medium candy-watermelon green. I would only do this to a tan leather interior car, though. The color is a bit darker then the Aztec Green of the 92-93 GS-R. Gunmetal rims.

2nd choice, the much more practical and cheaper one, OEM flint black metallic. That's the color my old 'teg was, and it was nice and clean. Silver or gunmetal rims.

The easiest and chepest to do would go red again. If you switch colors and want it to look good, you will need the engine bay and all other little areas painted as well and that is a huge job removing it all

I'm gonna see about costs and how much I wanna spend. Looks like it's either black or back to red. Atleast it'll be a real nice NEW red

i'm with patmnan015.....a real nice candy apple red is badass. it would look good with either bronze or gunmetal wheels.

I chose "other"...if I repaint my teg another color it will be White Diamond Pearl...the color on the TL and RL. I think that looks so awesome and suggest you do the same.

If you stick with a redish color you will be able to get away with not painting the engine bay or door jams without it looking to ghetto. I would look for a slightly different shade of red rather than an oem color just to it give a personal touch. Just my .02

Exactly my opinion too Stevieteg, I didn't want to go back to just an OEM red look cuz even though it'd be cleaner, most people wouldn't notice. I'll look into a "candy apple" color.
