Default Is this '90 G2 worth it?

I just checked out this white G2 Integra. Tell me if you guys think its worth it.

Its $1400 (or obo) , 124k miles, everything works including A/C. The body's very clean. There's one crack in one of the taillgihts but you can't relaly notice it. Also in the front, there's a big dent in the bumper. Its only about 1 or 2 inches deep so its not that bad. But how much would it take to fix it?

He drove the car and it seemed like the engine was strong. It shifted pretty well and everything seemed good.

Theres just three problems. One is a oil leak. The seller got an estimate at the mechanic, and it will cost about $400-500 to fix. He showed me the paper work HOwever, he said that if you refill the oil once every week, you should be able to run the car with no problems. THere's also a leak with the steering fluid which the mechanic said it would take $300-400 to fix. That can also be done later if i just replace fluid every month. The final one is that the speedometer cable makes a buzzing? noise when you drive high speeds. Is that easy to fix? The seller just said to put some lube on it. ALso, how long does the 5 -speed clutch usually last (miles?). The mechanic said that there is no problem with the clutch but it is a costly job and i just want to make sure

Is this G2 (trim is LS) worth it or should i wait for another one?

Thanks,
Brandon

On my 88 Accord the speedo cable made a buzzing noise before it broke. This is a cheap part to get and easy to replace.

As for the car...it is a Honda and the reliability is proven. My 88 has almost 300K and still runs pretty well.

Sounds ok. The hardest part is finding a G2 with a clean body. The dent in the bumper no big deal cause a bumper is fairly cheap and easy to replace. Plus it's plastic so no rust there.

The engine problem, sounds like the leak is serious like from the main seal or something so you could deal with it until you can afford the mechanic to fix it or I'd just replace the engine and tranny with b16a for $1200 or so. Why not.

I don't know how long the stock clutch lasts but I replaced mine at about 185k and bought the car at 118k. I don't know if it was replaced before I bought it or not. It costs about $600-800 to have replaced.

$1400 is very cheap for an integra but it has some pretty serious problems so go lower. Edmunds value a 90 LS at about $2500 in clean condition.
