Default Smokin' High RPM'S HELP

i've been racing a little lately and noticed at high rpm's (5-6k) a little gray smoke coming out of the exhaust. Just wondering if this might be something major -- car has great power but this worries me. Should i get a good oil additive to refresh my valve seals or something more???

if you have vtec then they come off of the show room floor basically smoking at those rpm's. but if not i am sure it is just normal wear and tear nothing to worry about until you are smoking at idle and then it is time for an engine rebuild.

great -- that's good news -- i didn't think that there was anything really wrong -- this 1.8 non v pulls like a monster. i love this car.

rings and valces seals are probably leaking a little oil @ high rpms, causing bunt oil, grey smoke to leave your teg. it's a 91 probably the most likely answer.

when you're burning oil, you get blue smoke, not gray. i would say gray/white is either vapor (which is fine), or coolant (which is not fine).

I'm gonna say piston rings cause it's an old car and that's what happens at high rpms.
