ok i just installed the JDM one piece headlights and now when i have my headlights on the blue brights indicator light "glows" but it does not actually turn on. it will still turn on when i turn the brights on but it never used to glow like that before. i was wondering if anyone else has had this prob or if anyone has any ideas of what it could be??

I had that same problem in my VR6, do you have any aftermarkte bulbs installed? That was my problem I'm guessing the wireharness couldn't handle the higher wattage bulb, I removed them and the high beam glow turned off. Hope it helps.

 

well the bulbs cam in the headlights so im not sure, they seem the usually yellow lights. i just hope i did not wire them up wrong but i cant find a good wiring diagram anywhere

 

You probably crossed a wire somewhere or didn't fully insulate them. How did you splice/insulate them?

Oh, and BTW, the JDM 90-93s use a yellow lense inside the fog section, not a yellow bulb :thumbup:

 

well i used these little connectors that u can buy at walmart but i think ur right with the crossed wire, do you know what color connects to what, i tried using the thing on www.g2ic.com but its diff than what mine are. (colors) if u have an idea it would help thanks!

 

Unfortunately my 'teg didn't live long enough to get one-peice headlights.

Did your lights come with the wire harness? I thought it plugged right up to the USDM main harness. :dunno:

 

no the JDM harness is diff cuz the new bulbs are h4 and the stock bulbs are 9004, i just was wondering if anyone had a good wiring diagram or had knew the order so i could see if i wired them right i dont want them to melt
