Default Thinking about buying V-AFC controler for GSR

I was woundering what sort of power increases i should expect from this modification in termd of HP and 0-60/quarter mile times. Right now im running like 15.3. Also my friend told me he installed and tunned his controler, should i have him do it or have this place do it it will be 135 to tune it. What sort of stuff will having them tune it change?

HP gains with the V-AFC depends on the mods you have like I/H/E or cams. But you should definitly get it tuned at a shop because all settings are different with different cars with the same setup. Only a dyno tune will get the most HP gains.

You should definately get some cams. Pay the extra money to tune it.

IMO you have no need for a vafc at this point. wait until you get cams then have them tuned together for best results.

At $300 for the AFC plus dyno time...all you will see is a smoother graph. Better mileage is a possibility, but just like any power youll see it will be minimal.

Not worth it at this point at all.
