Default Does anyone work more than one job?

I've got a decent job in IT with the company I've been with for over 3 years but I've just accumulated too much debt from hooking up cars and what not. My check is nice but it all goes out the door to bills and my daily commute to work (near 100miles round trip per day). I did have my own apt for a year and after I moved out I bought a new 03 Accord Coupe. Lately I've been considering getting a PT job somewhere but I don't know where to look. The PT job will help keep money in my pocket and pay off bills so I can get my own townhouse/condo by the beginning of 2004. What do you guys think? And what places should I go? I really don't care just as long as its easy work...pay don't have to be that great..at least $7/hour though

Check out those local cell phone shops in the mall. They rip peeople off all the time and pay pretty well. Usually looking for help too.

Had a friend that worked at a place like that for SprintPCS.... said her day mainly consisted of talking with other kiosk employee's, reading a book, and fending off the teenage boys. Started her at like $8.50/hr and was quite flexable.

That's a possibility. Hopefully I will get something for weekends only. That's my main thing since I work Full Time M-F and by the time I get home from my commute it's 730ish. Weekends are my only possibility.

Any other suggestions?

Well if weekends are the times your looking for... look for things that boom durring the weekend. Movies. Restruants. Pool halls. Sporting events.

Hey, maybe you could be one of those "BEER AND PEANUTS" guys at the ballpark. They get good tips. Friend made $100 one day in tips alone.

i recommend waiting tables...

i been doing that since i was 16, whether i had a better job at the time or not. the job sucks, but it can be fun and you make good money for the hours. i always averaged ~$11/hr no matter where i worked.

i'm going to apply at some restaurants tomorrow because my current job isn't giving me enough hours.

when my last restaurant closed due to ownership problems, i swore to never wait tables again...but i'm broke now so it's always something to fall back on.

wow that was a really long way of saying, go wait tables. good luck.

i got two jobs. i work at ups at night and I work at the local newspaper place on the weekends. They need extra help on fri/sat/sun because the sunday papers are so big.

I agree w/ clickwir... look for weekend hotspots. Dont forget about retailers that sell big on the weekends
