Default engine cranks but wont start

I have a ’94 Integra GS that will not start. It cranks and is getting spark. I pulled the fuel line where it goes into the injectors and there is gas there. I’m thinking maybe the injectors are not working. What would cause this, bad computer? Is there anything else I can check before I spend $200 on a new computer?

Thanks
Tom

Quick follow up... Can the computer be tested? If so can any shop do this or do I need to go to the dealer?

If the computer is bad you'd get a Check-Engine Light, and you likely wouldn't get spark [ECU controlled distributor].

Are you sure the cam timing is correct and that you have good compression?

just a long shot, but I've seen at least one honda pop the timing belt right as someone shut it off. See if it's still in good shape.

Is it turning over faster than usual? Any exhaust coming out the tail pipe when you crank it?

First off, by just pulling the fuel line from the injectors does not mean that there is fuel going into the cylinders. What you need to check for is fuel pressure. Since you checked and there is spark. Do you smell gas when you are cranking the motor? If no gas smell then somethings wrong with the fuel system. Check your fuel pump by opening the gas cap and have someone turn the ignition to on, you should here the fuel pump come on.

did this just happen, or did this happen after some work on teh car/engine. Any work that has recently been done on the car is crucial information, when we are trying to troubleshoot a problem.

The timing belt broke a couple of months ago and was replaced. I believe there was damage done to the valves because there was a noticeable loss of power and gas mileage. The car was starting and running fine however. Then, one day it was turned off and it would not start up again. As I said it will crank and it is getting spark. The car is in Maryland and I am in New Jersey so I can't check anything right now. I'm trying to get an idea of where I should start looking to identify the problem when I head down there this weekend.

I worked on it this weekend and found the problem. Some how the timing belt got slack in it and slipped on the crankshaft sprocket. It was almost 180 degrees out of sink with the cams. I reset everything and got it started. Thanks for all the suggestions.
