Default Alpine Type R and JBL 1200.1

I recently bought 2 12 Alpine Type R and JBL1200.1 amp
will 1.25 cubic feet per sub in sealed box work?
Is this a decent set up? I really want to get the best out of this set up. How should it be wired? and I want to get an aftermarket head unit. Any recomendation?
any comment, advice would be helpful
thank you

I've had 12" Alpine Type R's before. Great budget SQ subs that can get loud. 1.25 cubic feet is just fine. I've never tried wiring 2 subs into a mono amp before (that JBL is a mono amp right?) you can probably run em 2 ohm into 1 signal, yes? i have no clue. Ive always run off of 2 channel amps paralell, or bridged when i have to.

Oh, and as for headunits get a deck that has at least 4v preouts, to make those subs sound clean as possible. Any good Alpine deck will do. Im super picky, so i'd go with Eclipse's 5000 or 8000 series decks. theyve got 5v and 8v preouts. wicked stuff
