Default Eagle One Wet Wax As You Dry

Has anyone tried the Eagle One Wet Wax As You Dry wax? If so how did your car come out? Is it worth buying a bottle and trying it?

Its barely more than a quick detailer. It will give you some inital shine, but it has little durribility.

Better to get some quality wax, and learn the art of waxing swiftly

Yeah..I think that may be more of it's purpose than an actual wax. I was using the meguiars quick shine stuff on my last car, and ther's no way that you could use that as a replacement for a real wax. My problem is, with my new teg, I can't use any of those spray on cleaners/quick finishes. They leave horrible discolored streaks on my black car..ahhh..it's horrible. Back to the topic though. There are a lot of prouducts out there now that I think will enhance your cars shine and lengthen the time between waxes because of their moderate protective ability. I'll have to try that Eagle One stuff and let yall know what I think of it soon. Go for it if you want though...testing things is the only way to find out if something works or not. Please let us know what your results are if you purchase this stuff.

If you want the wax to last longer, its worth it to invest in a more durrible wax/sealant from square one.

Acrylic polymer sealants last 3-4 times as long as carnauba based waxes. Not only that, they provide better protection and duribility, and they can be layered. Each layer provides a better shine and more protection.

Klasse, Platinum, Blackfire, and Zaino are all good choices.

Ahh yes...the good stuff. You are wise indeed. I've actually been using my Finish First polish since I've gotten my new teg. The polymer based stuff works great...longer lasting shine and much longer lasting protection. The extra $$ spent is well worth it.

Have you tried applying a spray detailer w/ a microfiber cloth? I have several of these cloths and I love them. I use it w/ Quick Detailer and it leaves no streaks, no swirls, no lint, nothing.

They are also great for buffing off wax. Wax comes off EXTREMELY easy w/ microfiber cloths. :bigok:

Oh yes...it's been so long since I've used them. I always used my buffer on the g2 teg I had. I'll have to go out and get some more soon. Any suggestions on a good brand of Microfiber cloth?

Well I had a couple pairs of cloths that I got from AutoZone, and they worked pretty well, but weren't very big. Awhile back I happen to see a pair of cloths on the shelf at KMart or some store like that. I can't remember what brand was on it, but I remember it was a name-brand car detailing products company (Armor All, Turtle Wax, something like that). Anyway, these cloths are bigger, and thicker than the ones from AutoZone.

Also look into the cloths that Griot's Garage sells. Judging from the products they sell, those cloths are probably pretty good.
